I am a fan of quotes. I find useful bits of information in every quote and that is specially true when it is from a source that I respect. This is one of my favorites:

It seems like today, more than ever, people are basing their purchasing decisions on price alone. Maybe this is because of all of the consolidation in the PVF industry. Maybe it is because many industrial businesses are being bought by investment companies who's primary goal is the bottom line as evaluated on a spreadsheet. I don't believe in that.
In both my professional and personal life, I try to look at any purchase from many aspects. Is the product or service convenient, is it available when I want it, is it a quality product that will last, is it made by a manufacturer that I can trust to stand behind the product? If all other considerations are the same then I will look at price. All of those other things before price is what I believe Warren Buffet means in the quote when he talks about value.
It is our job to educate our customers on the value of our products and services and get beyond price.
